I put it to the test to see if this 2 pound scanner can really compete with some of the bigger scanners on the market. Check back here soon for my full review!

Ross serves us his Breakfast of Champions

posted on March 16th, 2010 - Filed in Breakfast Television - No comments »

We had our resident health expert in the BT kitchen this morning , Ross Hull, to serve breakfast to our Calgary Hitmen.

The Hitmen start playoffs on Thursday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Right winger Ian Schultz and defenceman Zak Stebner talked about their first round challenge — then we had them sample Ross’s breakfast. They claimed to like it… (although I’m not sure if they were just being polite). Anyway, we promised to post Ross’s recipe for all you healthy nuts out there.  So here you go…

ROSS’ HEALTH SLUDGE RECIPEE:

- SOAK 1-2 CUPS OF ORGANIC OATS IN APPLEC CIDER VINEGAR OVERNIGHT
- IN THE MORNING, DRAIN OATS AND PUT THEM IN THE BLENDER
- POUR ABOUT 4 CUPS OF RICE MILK INTO BLENDER
- ADD 2 SCOOPS OF WHEY ISOLATE PROTEIN POWDER
- BLEND IN 1 BANANA
- ADD ABOUT 1/2 CUP OF BLUEBERRIES
- ADD 1 TSP OF CACAO POWDER
