Finally the rumors are confirmed that Jake and Vienna are calling it quits. But they looked so happy just a few days ago….
I chatted with Jake and Vienna at the world premiere of the new World of Color attraction in Disneyland June 18th.
Jake and Vienna were really cute together. She is very pretty in person. Jake bought her a new pair of shoes for her birthday. Jake told me he picked them up himself just by listening to the hints – what he called the key to making a relationship work. We joked about men and their lack of listening skills. J & V said it was a fun date for them to come to Disneyland and they had just returned from hot getaway in Hawaii.
I would say that the two were “workin it” together but that’s the life of a showbiz couple — turn it up a notch when the cameras are on right? And let’s face it – Jake and Vienna found each other on reality TV. They know what’s what.
Sooo…the 13th couple to call it quits from the Bachelor franchise. Are we really that surprised? These people get engaged after only a few weeks! The ones who last are the exception to the rule. Maybe Ali will find the exception this season. In Roberto. Yessss!
PS – I included a pic of my Disney camera crew Darryl and Dave! They were so much fun to work with (despite not knowing who Jake and Vienna were lol – not exactly Bachelor fans) and technically **stellar**. A treat to roll with the boys who roll with the big boys like Jay Leno and Wayne Brady on a regular basis. That’s how they do it at Disney!

Mom and Dad stopped by the studio this morning for a little early Father’s Day time in on BT. Thankfully Dad didn’t reveal too many embarrassing details about my childhood even though although Schultzy prodded him to do the opposite…
My parents are off to Ontario where they’re making a permanent move to be closer to the grand kids. This Sunday will be our last Father’s Day together in Alberta! We’re having a big BBQ which I’m not allowed to go near. Probably a good idea, dad makes a way better steak anyway

I am so grateful for Kasey’s spontaneous serenades they made the show so much fun to watch. Is this guy for real? Who breaks out into boy band song twice in one date? I love it. I can’t wait for him to reveal his rose and 11 diamond shield tattoo next week.
What was with all the singing last episode?! TV gold.
Meantime how much do we LOVE Roberto? Who cares he can’t sing put that man in a sparkly loin cloth and I’m sold. I mean Ali is sold. Which she is. And they will live happily ever after in blissful dimply happiness.
Close second – Chris L had a fantastic birthday date and he seems like such a sensitive soul. I wondered about why he wore a backpack and sneakers to a fancy NY club…but I think it made me like him more. He’s effortless. BIG fan.
I know there are a lot of Frank fans out there (Andrew Schultz included)…is it me or is he too attached too soon? Get a red flag on that one. Look out for Kirk too – think that one is sneaking in there. And I can’t *wait* for Chris N’s first speaking scene
