Andrew;
We watch your show every morning, and have seen a lot of great prized and giveaways, but this one would be of a HUGE help to my family. I need to win this basically because I have three growing boys (ages 4-12), who are already eating me out of house and home. They LOVE cereal. My husband is currently unable to work, and it is up to me to support a family of 5 on my income. Help with groceries would be a blessing more than you know.

April 22nd, 2009 at 9:32 amWell, my fiance and myself are expecting our first little one in November. I’ve heard of pregnant women having some off the wall food cravings before, but this is a new one.
April 22nd, 2009 at 9:33 amMy fiance, Carla, has become a ‘cereal killer (so to speak). I wake up in the morning, and she has since woken up in the middle of the night, and has consumed 2-3 bowls of cereal by 7am. I come downstairs only to see her asleep on the couch, and the cereal carnage strewn across the coffee table behind her.
We share everything in our relationship (yes, including food), but some mornings I arrive at the kitchen table to the sight of empty Mini-Wheat or Just Right cereal boxes, and a milk carton with mere ounces of milk remaining.
I hear the pantry door opening…..I gotta go…..
Please Help!
3 teenagers in the house! HELP ME! including 2 teenage boys who are currently both playing rudgy and spring league basketball. Let me tell you they eat alot. – breakfast includes a 4 egg omelet and a bowl of cereal each – after school snack includes a bowl of cereal – or two or three – and bedtime snack quite often involves cereal as well! bring on the cereal!
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:08 amI’d like to nominate my mother to win this prize pack! (I hope this is the right place to post – I saw Dave & Suzanne are giving away the cereal packages as well, but couldn’t see anything on their blogs!)
My mother is a mom to no less than 8 children. Three girls, then five boys in a row! Right now, there are 4 boys and 1 girl still at home with her and Dad, and even though three of us have moved out, things are still a little crazy in the Termeer household in the morning! Brad (15), Darren (14), Brian (11) and Marc (10) love to chow down on a bowl of cereal in the rush to get out the door. Mom’s always insisted on something nutritious to make sure we all got a good start on the day and a good bowl of Rice Krispies with milk did the job!
You can imagine the impossibility of keeping enough cereal stocked for 4+ ravenous boys – please give my mom a break and give her cereal to feed the troops for a year!
Thank you!
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:20 amCereal for a full year!! All Bran!! My kids would love it! My husband would love all the bran muffins that I could bake with them.
As a family, this would help with all the cutbacks that are happening within the family and with all the sleepovers and visitors that we are to receive for the next 3 or 4 months!
We started watching BT 11 years ago this summer and my youngest who started watching the show at 6 months, still turns on the tv and says mom you should enter!
Thanks for helping us every morning, what a better way to start it but with All Bran?
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:23 amCereal!!!! My kids think cereal is the ONLY food. Boy that would save on the grocery bill. Love to win a years worth of Kelloggs!
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:24 amGood Morning,
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:26 amMyself being a single/widowed mom of 6( ages 4-18) and grandma to 1 ( age 2)
could definetatly use a year supply of cereal. You see every morning there is ALWAYS an empty
box on the counter, with another being opened . They eat cereal not only in the mornings but for a snack at night as well. And Kellogs is a favorite for all kids & grown ups. So have yourself an awesome day !!
Pick me!!! Pick me!!!…
My nearly 17 year old son eats all the cereal he can get his hands on…lol……
Morning…noon…and night…
I’m often told Debbie you should eat breakfast in the morning…( I tend to skip it)..When I do go to get some all the good stuff is gone…..by the cereal monster…lol
Thanks….Debbie
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:30 amDear Andrew…
I NEED CEREAL!! .. I am a single mom of two very hungry boys.(14 and 3) I have started back to school to get on a new career path, however student loans leave me with less than enough to make ends meet as far as the food consumptions of my kids require. .Anyone with children knows that cereal is not only a breakfast food… mid morning snack.. lunch along with a sandwich and fruit.. after school snack,, dessert after dinner ect. Needless to say, that is one staple in the house that is gone through Very Quickly!!! Limited income at this time does not allow me to keep us stocked all the time as several boxes of cereal are not always cheap, A years supply of cereal would be an EXTRAORDINARY amount of help as I do not graduate until Jan 2010. Thanks for taking the time to read my plea for cereal help (lol)
Thanks
LEANNE
GO FLAMES GO!!!! THE SEA OF RED IS WASHING OVER THE HAWKS!!!! So Stoked for the game !!
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:41 amWow Cereal for a year!!!! My recently laid off husband has decided to spend his newly found time training to run his first half and full marathon. He has also convinced our children, including our 4 year old, that getting up early having a light breakfast and then going for a run before coming back and eating yet a second round of Breakfast is the way to start to your day. As the main, or should I say only preference for breakfast in our household is cereal, it is fair to say I can’t keep enough in the house for our blossoming athletes.
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:56 amHave a boy (13) and a girl (15) and just acquired guardianship of a 15 year old boy. They are growing and need a healthy breakfast. My daughter eats cereal as her afterschool and bed time snack. The boys have a few bowls full every moring for breakfast. We go through about four boxes of cereal a week. WE LOVE CEREAL!!
April 22nd, 2009 at 11:02 amLet me fill you in on the cast of our “Seinfeld” Style Cupboard
Mini-Wheat Muncher, That’s me…I love Mini-Wheats…I usually partake in these scrumptious little devils after the kids have gone to bed….who says cereal is a morning meal.
Almighty All-Bran Avenger. My husband…loves to kick start his morning with a big bowl of All Bran and fruit…really gets his schedule going, if you know what I mean.
Ready to Rise Raisin Bran – My 5 year old daughter, loves all the plump raisins in her Raisin Bran…she usually picks them all out to eat them first. She is also a Fast and Furious Fruit Looper (see below).
Fast and Furious Fruit Looper – My 3 year old son, he’ll take them wet or dry, at the table, in the living room, or in my bed….I usually find them when I am eating my mini-wheats.
Ready for Rice Krispies Runt – My youngest son, 9 months…has mastered the skill of picking up whatever he finds on the floor….Rice Krispies are a wonderful alternative to the droppings of his older brother and sister…and he likes them too.
Bottom line —- Cereal is a staple on our house and one thing that needs to be restocked every week. We’d love to win your prize pack and put it to good use in our “Seinfeld” Style Cupboard.
April 22nd, 2009 at 11:04 amYou certainly have to think “outside the box” [the cereal box!] to feed a growing family while on EI. While I’m sure looking for work is just a speed bump in our household my teenage kids seem to absorb food through osmosis. Well, here I am trying my best to impress! My 19 year old is a bottomless pit and (I think) survives on Mini-Wheats. My 14 year old would probably consume KD for breakfast if he could, but suffers through eating Special K (yes, my 14 year old SON eats Special K…not sure where the taste buds are going there or if it’s just the need to have “K” in his favourite foods!).
April 22nd, 2009 at 11:23 amYou’re the best Andrew! Keep the good weather coming and get rid of the snow! Remember – you have the BEST JOB! Even when you are only 50% right about the weather you are still doing great (if it turns out to be sunny – you get the credit!).
mmmm… cereal, what more can I say?
April 22nd, 2009 at 4:06 pmI just bought a cow…now all I need is the cereal! Free breakfast for a year! Bring it on Andrew!
April 23rd, 2009 at 12:44 amAll viewers won a huge prize pack watching you do the Mr. Roboto…..NICE!
April 23rd, 2009 at 10:49 amCereal Idea! That would be great with two growing boys in sports year round. (cereal is a food group). As for myself, I use it to get the body working, if you know what I mean.
My hubby just got a early retirement pkg(downsizing pkg) and I am looking for work fulltime, so this would save some money.
Love the Snake Pointer!
