Review: Rogers MiFi (Novatel MiFi 2372)

mifiMobile internet is nothing new. We’ve seen devices on the market for a couple of years now, which can give us high speed internet on the go,  as long as we have access to a 3G cell signal. At one point those devices had to be either plugged into the wall, or hardwired to your laptop to give you internet access. But things are changing. Rogers has started offering the Novatel MiFi 2372. But is this wireless personal WiFi hotspot much better than the other devices already on the market? Check back later this morning for my full review!

Canon Professional P-150 – AKA the Scan-Tini

Canon has launched the ultimate scanner for professionals on the go. The official name is the Professional P-150 but it goes by the nickname of Scan-tini. I put it to the test to see if this 2 pound scanner can really compete with some of the bigger scanners on the market. Check back here soon for my full review!

Review: God of War 3 – PS3

The wait is finally over. At long last, the final chapter to the God of War series has arrived on the Playstation 3.

There is no denying this is easily one of the most anticipated titles of the year for Playstation owners. The franchise has been wildly successful, and for good reason. The combat is intense, the story engaging, and the violence is over the top.

Sony has teased us for months with demos and screenshots showing off the fifth (including one PSP and one mobile title) and final game in this story arc. Can it possibly live up to player expectations? Read on, dear gamers, read on.

Review: Final Fantasy XIII – Xbox 360, PS3

It sure has been a long time (seven years, in fact) since we last saw a standalone Final Fantasy title. It’s hard to believe Final Fantasy X-2 was released way back in 2003. Yes, a lot of time has passed and Square Enix has been busy working on the 13th installment of the franchise ever since.

There’s no denying the Final Fantasy series has been good to Square Enix. More than 92 million copies of the franchise have shipped worldwide. Those who fell in love with the series have followed it through, and it continues to pick up new fans along the way. Which could very well be why there is so much excitement over this title.

Square Enix has a history of producing quality, lengthy, intense role playing games but can a company justify spending 7 years producing a title? While series fanatics will fall head over heals in love, newer fans will question a few aspects of the game.
