According to Chris Harrison’s blog on www.ew.com, he is having a “tough time” with all the rumors surrounding this season of The Bachelor. (**possible spoiler alert below!**)
Chris is referring to the whole “Jason-picks-Melissa-then-changes-his-mind-and-picks-Molly” rumor. The switcharoo means (you guessed it) the most DRAMATIC BACHELOR ENDING TO DATE! It’s so good, it almost seems like the producers planned it that way.
Here’s what Harrison says about the gossip on his blog:
“…we are not responsible for, nor have we ever scripted, the ending of this show. Let me re-type this slowly so all of you can read this: We do not, and have not, decided the ending of any of our seasons…we have not shot the second “After the Final Rose” special yet! I gotta be honest. It’s going to be really hard to go back and edit a show we haven’t even shot yet.”
The final episode of The Bachelor airs on Citytv Monday 9PM.
Hi Jill . I think the question we have to ask ourselves here is how could jason not know that molly was the right girl for him ? it makes for a great ending but it must have been very stressful yet exciting for the girls. do you guys get to watch the shows ahead of time? thanks . Graham.
February 25th, 2009 at 2:14 amHEY SPOILER ALERT!! I have become one of those sad people who cannot WAIT until Monday to see what finally goes down (pardon the pun) with the Bachelor! Sources are now saying Jason picks Melissa, the cameras keep rolling while Melissa calls her parents to tell them the good news. Her parents freak out and refuse to support them, to which Jason runs out to the balcony and cries (as seen in the previews). Between that day and the taping of the first ATFR, Jason starts seeing Molly behind Melissa’s back. Live on the show, Jason dumps Melissa for Molly to which Melissa freaks out and storms off the set. THUS THE NEED FOR AFTR2….which is apparently STILL being taped and will have no audience in attendance.
PERSONALLY, in my dream world, Jason picks Melissa and when Ty meets her, he wants to know where the heck the awesome Canadian girl went!! Jason immediately realizes his mistake, dumps Melissa and hooks up with Jillian. THE REASON FOR THE PRIVATE ATFR2 is because it is actually in Canada where he proposes to Jillian and the producers couldn’t risk the leak!!! OK…..Ok……I need to get a life! But wouldn’t that be GREAT???????? Jillian needs to be the next Bachelorette! Her head is screwed on the right way, just like Trista’s was. I think Jillian will be the next successful Bachelorette!!

OMG!!! I would pay anything to become your best friend (even if it was for just one day……MONDAY!) Is there a group for Bachelor addicts? Seriously, this is so sad! I am getting up on a Sunday morning excited because tomorrow is Monday! NEVER IN THE HISTORY HAVE I EVER SAID THAT BEFORE!! Life returns to normal on Wednesday morning!!! Can’t wait to hear your reviews on Tuesday & Wednesday!
