Finally the rumors are confirmed that Jake and Vienna are calling it quits. But they looked so happy just a few days ago….
I chatted with Jake and Vienna at the world premiere of the new World of Color attraction in Disneyland June 18th.
Jake and Vienna were really cute together. She is very pretty in person. Jake bought her a new pair of shoes for her birthday. Jake told me he picked them up himself just by listening to the hints – what he called the key to making a relationship work. We joked about men and their lack of listening skills. J & V said it was a fun date for them to come to Disneyland and they had just returned from hot getaway in Hawaii.
I would say that the two were “workin it” together but that’s the life of a showbiz couple — turn it up a notch when the cameras are on right? And let’s face it – Jake and Vienna found each other on reality TV. They know what’s what.
Sooo…the 13th couple to call it quits from the Bachelor franchise. Are we really that surprised? These people get engaged after only a few weeks! The ones who last are the exception to the rule. Maybe Ali will find the exception this season. In Roberto. Yessss!
PS – I included a pic of my Disney camera crew Darryl and Dave! They were so much fun to work with (despite not knowing who Jake and Vienna were lol – not exactly Bachelor fans) and technically **stellar**. A treat to roll with the boys who roll with the big boys like Jay Leno and Wayne Brady on a regular basis. That’s how they do it at Disney!
Caught the news this morning as always… so…Jake’s (almost) step-mother-in-law is now saying he’s a fraud!? Qu’elle shocker… there’s really no such such thing as a nice clean break these days…not that expected anything like that for a reality TV couple, but I digress…
I can’t wait for next weeks episode…DYING to find out who the cheating rat is in this season’s Bachelorette! We can almost all be sure that it’s not Frank… I have to agree with you Jill, he’s a little TOO attached TOO soon. Again, loving the editing the producers do on this show… he looked so…um…creepy when they were in the beautiful “lagoon” in Iceland… I think he was, initially a dark horse for me on this season…now, I’m not so sure.
Thank goodness “I want to protect and guard your heart” (seriously, how many times did he say that? I want to know the big number… I think it was the only thing he said) is gone…I think Ali wasn’t sure about him or Justin both, so the trifecta date was a good idea to get rid of the bigger of two evils… I couldn’t handle “mumbles” for another episode. And Justin’s evil-always-scheming eyebrows…I don’t think they’ll be around much longer either…Bye Bye Mr.Rated R! Seriously, was Jillian the only awesome/normal Canuck to be on the show? I know Jillian’s season was the first I watched, so I have a limited point of reference…but… really?

Thanks for posting some more details on ‘the break-up’! It’s got to be one or the more expected break-ups.
I’d love to hear more about the Disneyland trip. I huge fan and am looking forward to the completion of the California Adventure reno.
It looks like media day was chaos!
