Well Bachelorette fans, we’re into the final few roses and up to one of my favorite episodes: the hometown visits! Let’s assess the situation and weigh out the plus/minus situation of our last 4 guys.
1. Roberto
THE PLUS SIDE: Dimples!!! Adorable, self assured, grateful, and romantic. Has Ali giggling all over the globe. Smokin’ hot. Roberto is the guy Ali says she could easily fall in love with and end up with in the end.
THE DRAWBACK: Maybe too hot for Ali? She feels inferior so dating up is a risk. He holds the cards and maybe isn’t maybe an equal match (in her eyes) – danger!
2. Chris L
THE PLUS SIDE: SO sincere and loves his family. He’s making an effor to break down his walls and taking his time opening up to Ali. Like Chris L. Lots.
THE DRAWBACK: We’re on a time crunch Chris! You only have a shooting period of approx 6 weeks to get to know each other, fall in love, and get down on one knee!
3. Kirk
THE PLUS SIDE: Kirk’s been through a health crisis and came back with a brighter outlook on life. He knows himself and is ready to commit.
THE DRAWBACK: Did you *see* his Dad’s taxidermy room?! Mmmmm dealbreaker.
4. Frank
THE PLUS SIDE: Sparks! Chemistry, chemistry, chemistry. Frank and Ali have real and open conversations with each other.
THE DRAWBACK: He either has a girlfriend (unless that was his sister who opened the door) or commitment problems. And he lives with his parents.
ON THE FLIP SIDE
How gross was it to watch Jake and Vienna rehash their split on tonight’s episode? The two probably felt they could set the record straight but ended up both looking seriously immature. Their back and forth mud slinging was embarrassing and so awkward to watch! Vienna seems to spin a web of lies and Jake is smug and condescending. They would have been better to take the high road and leave what was/wasn’t between them in the past.

I think you’re right. As much as I’d love Ali to end up choosing Roberto…sometimes dating “up” can result in those awkward moments of insecurity…does he love me, will someone else come along and steal his heart… but he would make for some delicious eye candy on my …er… sorry, Ali’s arm. She needs to lose the insecurity, which may be hard because we all know that stuff is built up over years and years. If only she could see that she is a hot little kitten
and work it, work it, work it like she owns it!
We do love Chris L! He’s guarding himself, which is a good thing (I think… as long as there’s not a scary family secret behind all the “guardedness”)…but as we saw, it almost cost him…”is it too little , too late?”…Can Chris’ sweet face, and love for his family keep Ali intrigued to the end?
Um…Kirk. I REALLY thought he was the underdog….who could come out shining at the end… but that taxidermy room of horror …well, it killed (and stuffed) the romance for me. Am I that shallow that what someone’s dad does could affect me so much?? Apparently yes, because I could NEVER go over to his parents’ place again, and then I’d be “that girl who’s too good for our family…blah blah…” Ewwww to the taxidermy room!
Okay…Frank is the man of a million secrets right now…what happened to him?? First the revelation about the living with parents situation, and now what…? Can’t wait to see what’s shaking there…. so much mystery! He sure is waiting to spring these things on Ali… Their relationship may be a little too “high school” for someone like Ali.
And….speaking of High School… in the “he-said” corner we have Jake, and in the “she-said” corner we have Vienna. Let’s get it on! Seriously, It made my head hurt to see them both being absolute jerks. I hope they both realise what a couple of bafoons they looked like… but, I was glued to every awkward-jerky moment of it! You know Jill, maybe Jake should be an actor after all. I certainly fell victim and believed his sincerity on Jillian’s Bachelorette season, and took it all in again, hook line and sinker in his Bachelor season… and then we see “The Face”… you know the one…that smug-I was too good for you anyways-I’m better than this whole situation-you’re being an immature brat-face! The airing of their dirty laundry was pedestrian and something I’d half expect to see on Jerry Springer at best. Kudos though to the producers who saw the money, and took a chance that fans would want to see what they had to say…and we did.
Okay… that about sums up my feelings on the whole mess, boy do I love me some Bachelor/ Bachelorette drama!

I would like to see his lower case “t”’s. As a hobby I do handwriting analysis and would love to see all of the bachelor’s handwriting.
July 13th, 2010 at 2:38 amJake’s handwriting says that he is a perfectionist. Perfectionists have a fear of losing or being out of control. Add temper to perfectionist and you have a control freak! Vienna isn’t a perfectionist and this is yet another reason I wouldn’t match them up. When you are a control freak , it’s like a neurosis and you try to control things that don’t matter such as; squeezing the toothpaste the wrong way, walking up the stairs on the right side and down the left side so you wear the carpet out evenly. Jake also has defiance in his writing, meaning he doesn’t like to listen to authority. Vienna is a dominant woman, taking over the conversation and that just won’t due for Jake. I would never match a couple together when one has dominance and the other defiance as neither one will get their way. Also Vienna had too many irons in the fire in her writing. This means that she has a very strong drive and I can’t say for sure if she cheated but I wouldn’t put it past her that she gave out her number and likes to flirt. I bet Justin and Frank have the same long descending “y” ’s as Vienna. Please send me their handwriting if you have some as I’d love to analyse them.
