July 31st, 2009 at 9:04 amMy favorite poolside treat is a Pink Bikini Martini!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:07 amMorning Jill!
It would definitely have to be something cold, like a slushy fruit drink (perhaps with some rum).
July 31st, 2009 at 9:08 amFave poolside treat? That would have to be a back porch lemonade – lemonade, watermelon liqueur, vodka – yummy summer staple turned ‘adult’! Add a good book and my fiance, and call it a perfect summer.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:12 amGin and tonic!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:13 amMy favorite is nachos and bellinis

Hello Jill,
July 31st, 2009 at 9:16 amIn a effort to stay trim and healthy pool side, I double bowl on ice berries, pineapple, little squeeze of lemon a refreshing garnish of mint and feel like a rock star at home!!
Fave poolside treat? A back porch lemonade – lemonade, watermelon liqueur and a bit of vodka. A summer staple turned ‘adult’! Add a good book and my fiance, and it’s a perfect summer!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:16 amHas to be Sunshine, dry heat and Lollipops!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:16 amOne really fun snack is sliders (mini burgers) and a nice cold beer. The more gourmet the burgers the better.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:28 amMy favorite treat at the pool is anything slushy – daiquiri, margarita, slurpee, miami vice, bahama mama . . .
July 31st, 2009 at 9:30 amI’m not much of a drinker, but my favorite poolside treat would have to be a cold drink — something with pomegranate would be the best! Add my fiance (and a cold beer for him) and I’m set!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:31 amI dream of the poolside. Some might say I ache for it. I, sadly, have not experienced the relaxation of the side of the pool for some time, for my pool time consists of phrases like “get back here please!” and “don’t shoot people with your water gun! Put it down! Put id Down!!!”……I do hear that the ‘poolside’ is magical. One day soon. One day soon.
All that being said, my poolside treat is obviously a punch bowl full of gin n’ juice and trashy hollywood magazines.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:39 amwicked? I think so.
My favourite summer treat is enjoying the bounty of fresh summer fruits; cherries, peaches, watermelons, canteloupes, plums… cut up in a salad and served with a spritzer made with pureed canteloupe, sparkling water and a squeeze of lime.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:40 amOh and a little something from the raw bar!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:43 amGood Morning
My favourite poolside treat would have to be a large cranberry martini and a platter of fresh pineapple, strawberries and watermelon!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:48 amPoolside Treats……………..This one is cooling for Kids and Adults , and secret snackers.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:53 amFill a punchbowl with crushed ice (plain)………….. can be flavoured for Kids………….or liquored up for Adults. Then stir in frozen grapes of different colors , and JuJubes. Give em cups and a scoop , and everyone digs in to this simple summer cooler.
A bowl of frozen grapes is great on it’s own too.
Stay Cool !!
I guess I am boring, but I love a large glass of ice water with a squeeze of fresh orange – cool and refreshing on a hot day!
July 31st, 2009 at 9:56 amBELLINIS!!!!! If there’s no blender in sight…orange freezies.
July 31st, 2009 at 9:57 amI wish I could have a drink! Between being pregnant and breastfeeding, I cannot even remember what an adult drink is. I am stopping the breastfeeding and ready for a poolside drink, ANYTHING with alcohol, I need one.

July 31st, 2009 at 10:05 amThe last time I spent a week by the pool I enjoyed the most amazing foreign barbequed chicken…er…well I hope it was chicken?
July 31st, 2009 at 10:06 amMy indulgent poolside treat would have to be just the fact that I was NEAR a pool!! Or water for that fact. A nice cold Pina colada and satay chicken skewers would top it off too.
July 31st, 2009 at 10:07 amWhile in the Cook Islands I discovered a delicious refreshing drink called a Sea Breeze. In my opinion, there’s nothing better on a warm day.

July 31st, 2009 at 10:21 amYummy……………and Cool !!!
July 31st, 2009 at 10:29 amDip big watermelon wedges in melted chocolate ( cover completely) , and then get them very cold in refridgerator.
They are great to bite into the SNAP of the cool chocolate , and then you get a BLAST of COOL watermelon Juice SQUIRTING into your mouth !!

July 31st, 2009 at 10:36 amSitting in our backyard looking over all the gardens watching our family or friends laughing and splashing in the pool or in the hot tub sipping a Tea-tini (orange vodka, citrus tea, and a nice slice of lemon) with cheese and crackers. Smelling a nice steak on the BBQ with corn on the cob. There is nothing better than that.
July 31st, 2009 at 10:37 amHi Jill and everyone in the studio.
July 31st, 2009 at 10:43 amI would say that my favorite summer drink is a nice cold CORONA, and of course I like to have some fresh home made salsa with cilantro, tomatoes, onions and lots of lime juice. I almost forget the CHIPS…… Is this divine or what?. I don’t want to forget my husband; he doesn’t drink but I’ll drink the rest of the Corona for him.
Have a nice weekend and enjoy the sun!!!!!!!!!!
Drinking Tea-tini (orange vodka, citrus tea, and nice slice of lemon) with cheese and crackers. Smelling the BBQ in background and enjoying the day with family and friends around the pool.

July 31st, 2009 at 11:11 am..My husband now has a nickname…….. “Pool Boy ” for good reason…hehehe
A favorite lakeside treat Crab California Rolls….Shushi and an Ice cold beverage of your choice…..
The Lake is lovely but a Pool is more Romantic……Pool Boy and I would love to get away……
Favorite poolside snack? Lady you need to try a small platter of thinly sliced Balderson chedder, Vegetable Thin Crackers with Red Pepper Jelly (it adds a little bite!), and a glass of mildly child red wine (I prefer a Cab-Sauv and am enjoying a Chilaen “Cono Sur”). The red wine MUST be chilled poolside or it just wont work so I suggest you have it somewhere around 10 – 14 deg c to provide the perfect taste on your tongue!
ps – you said that model would look good in a bag? Nah: you Jill would look good in a paper bag! Now how is that for kissing up to the teacher?
July 31st, 2009 at 11:11 amFavourite poolside drink is a nice big, very dry martini. Only thing that ever beat it was a strawberry margarita on the deck of our cruise ship by the pool while cruising the Mexican Riviera.

My fav poolside treat for sure is always watching my beautiful kids playing, laughing and smiling!
August 2nd, 2009 at 12:36 amIf it’s too hot to pull out the blender, Kahlua and club soda in a tall glass with ice is very yummy!
Treat? The pool man who delivered the drink!
If I have to get it myself, fresh fruit (peaches, blueberries…) or a soft ice cream with slurpee on top.
August 3rd, 2009 at 12:15 pmFavorite poolside treat…..hmm, this could be so many things but I would have to say watermelon…so cool and refreshing on a hot summer day!
