would love to get this for my daughter . She is paying for internet yet has no router( well one that works!!!) which is silly.

  2. Nicole Says:

I have purchased several different brands of routers and have yet to be successful in securing them with a password. I would love to have this new router and finally keep people from using my wireless to access what they want.
I’m not technical and anything that will make it easy is greatly appreciated! I also have 2 little kids under 3, so it’s hard to even find time to call the support lines for my existing router as they have crazy during the day hours. Thanks Nicole

  3. Lori Horne Says:

I would really love this as I hav no one to call on a sunday night. My internet is so slow!

  4. Shannon George Says:

My parents! My mom is forever calling me to come over and figure out why this isn’t working and that isn’t working. Their wireless is completely not working right now and I think this would be a great solution for them, quick and easy and simple. Please help!

  5. Wayne Meier Says:

I have had plenty of grief with my Belkin G Plus router. Dropping connections. I had a replacement sent from the vendor and it was worse. Sent it back. I spend 10 hours a day + on the internet at home (work….and they don’t pay for my router).

  6. Phil Clarke Says:

I would love to have this to pass along to my mom, who despite her best efforts, just can’t figure out all the wires :(

    Love all your reviews btw!

  7. Martin Moon Says:

I would like the Valet Plus so that I can move my PC around my apartment without all the wires.

  8. Dale Napier Says:

Hi Mike – saw your “blip” on the Cisco…..and I’m one of those guys that have my son-in-law on speed dial to answer questions/solve problems with my Mac – so this little gadget would save us both alot of time and energey…

    Cheers

  9. Nathan Says:

This thing sounds interesting. I could use this to replace my anger inducing D-Link. Nothing but problems with that sucker.

  10. Ann Dundas Says:

Wow, does my 74 year old mom ever need this! She really wants to enter the “new age” but to say she is technically challenged is an understatement. It needs to be easy, work well and have very very simple instructions. This sounds like just the thing! Please help me help her out!

  11. Peggy Lyons Says:

    Mike,
I really feel my family would benefit from this feature. I have a teenager that needs some parental discretion as to what he is doing on the internet and I am not at all computer literate. I need help and this seems to be pretty easy to use.

  12. Amy Davidson Says:

I need the Cisco’s Valet Plus because I am the exact person you described on the show today. I need a router desperately and have no idea how to set up a network, nor can I afford a router. I can no longer sit with my laptop plugged into that black box thingy, a modem, i think its called (is that right?!?).
    Thanks,

  13. Rob Hunter Says:

It’s fate. I have been having problems with my D-Link Router and this morning it crapped out altogether. Then I turned on BT and there is Mike talking about this new Router from Cisco. I need it now. Thanks.

  14. Jen Young Says:

This product sounds great. My husband works on computers and is always getting calls from Family members wanting his help with different computer questions including setting up their wireless. I think if we could test this product we could recommend it to them. A couple less technical calls would be great.

  15. Peggy Watson Says:

I’ve tried a few iterations of wireless routers but always somehow find a way to make them not work, so many ways to do it wrong! This sounds simple enough that even I might be able to make it actually work….it would help me greatly.

  16. Glendene So Says:

My daughter sooo needs something like this to help her get set up in her new dorm this year at university! She is the least “techy” of my daughters and I am sort of worried about how she’ll manage with all her computer stuff this year.

    Please help us!

  17. Brian Graftaas Says:

The sooner more companies get away from the PC/Microsoft metality of building cunsumer products that require tech skills, the better off all of us will be. It is hard to believe this day and age, companies design their consumer products without having the consumer in mind. Yesterday, I spent over 1 hour messing around with my router and internet provider, re-setting, remotely configuing and so on. What a waste of my time for a product I pay for every month. Cheers to this product, it looks like a winner! Brian

  18. Linda M Says:

OMG !! Mike, I REALLY hope that you pick me to win.. I am technically challenged and am trying to keep up with my teenage techy kids. I luv watching your segments and have learned alot from you about ” whats happening” hehehe. thanx :) crossing my fingers………Linda…ps..I have the laptop so would luv some wireless help ;)

  19. cheryl findlater Says:

Hi…. Mike (yawwwwwwwwwwn) sorry just woke up!!!!!! So glad to have seen THIS !!! My mother desperately neeeds this thing because unfortunately my poor husband who is busy enough get calls everytime there is a problem with my mother’s computer… We love her to pieces but – would love just to visit without …. the dreaded “can you please come downstairs to look at my computer”

Bless my dearest computer geek Mommy heart !!!

    Thanks!!!

  20. Matthew Duquette Says:

i just wanted to say that i feel the valet plus would benifit me becuase im constantly battleing with my house hold router and it seem that every time im in the middle of something important on the internet it goes out annd then trying to find a decent wireless connection is the biggest pain in the world it has actually become so bad that i have been forced to use the internet on my phone and as a big pc gamer thats really not alot of fun lol and if i could connnect to a steady wireless internet connection in less than 5 minutes i think that would litteraly save my life.

  21. Ian Dundas Says:

Oh my gosh this would be a terrific thing to have so that my poor brother in law doesn’t get his regular (seemingly weekly) distress calls from me to help me sort out why my wireless connection is yet again not working. Imagine having a simple system that actually works…in an age where so much technology is complicated and often not very intuitive (might I even say counter intuitive). Would that everything from my tv remote to my microwave were so simple. Thx

  22. Marti Says:

    MIKE!
Sunday night I was over at my friend Bryanne’s and she was complaining that her wireless internet doesn’t work. Naturally, I took this as an opportunity to show her my awesome “I can totally figure this out” computer skills. Not so much. THREE HOURS LATER I seriously just about threw her router out the patio door! Seriously Mike, she could really use this. She hasn’t had wireless internet since she bought her condo five years ago!

    Thanks!

  23. Allison Says:

I could use this! Love my spouse but a pair of techies we are not! (He still thinks a Wii is called the “We 2″….much to the confusion of the staff at Walmart!) We discovered totally by accident that our previous network was totally unsecure. Still I wouldn’t know what to even ASK for if I walked into a computer/electronics store and tried to set up a standard system. Help us! :)

  24. Chantal Labranche Says:

I’m in the middle of starting out my own little company, and have been relying on all of my friends for their help on a daily basis. I think they may be getting tired of it :) I just ordered a new computer system and could really use the Cisco so I don’t have to borrow my friend’s husband again to help me get set up!!

  25. Lois Munro Says:

Hello Mike! It was my birthday on Monday and the real reson I would love this product is because I am just starting a small side part time business Dog Grooming and I really could use a wireless program such as your new gadett. I have just had major foot on Friday and have to have 8 weeksoff work. And now would be a great time for me to win that cool prize and put the program I bought into action!!
    Thanks Mike!!
    Lois

  26. Gil Collins Says:

My mother’s 80th birthday is coming up and she definitely has “issues” with her internet supplier and definitely not wireless… yet.. This would be a new age gift indeed.

    Cheers,

    Gil

  27. Michele Says:

Please pick us Mike! We need the Valet Plus! Then I can get the router out of my purse. You never know where you will find the router at our house. I’ve hidden it in cereal boxes, in the laundry and disguised it among plant leaves. The Valet Plus would make life a breeze and remind us all that eventually work and play is eventually done and time to get on with life!! Thanks for listening Mike!

  28. Ruth Says:

I would love to win this gaget. My mom seems to think I know it all when it comes to computers only because my job is 90% computer work yet I know nothing about the ins and outs. I would give this to her so I don’t get computer calls any longer. She is in her 70’s, took on the computer about 7 years ago and has done very well. It is her connection to her family and friends as she can only gets around on her own where her walker can take her. I am sure my mom would love this as much as I would love her to have this gaget.

  29. Nicole Henbrey Says:

Good morning! My name is Nicole Henbrey and I would just love to win this because I have never ever had a network before! Winning this would be soooo helpful because our computer has crashed and we don’t have enough money to figure out how to fix it so now my family has been using my iPod. This has been working for us but I am always looking for a good signal. (And so far the best I can find is in my back alley >.<). Thank you so much for reading this and I hope you have a wonderful day.

    Sincerely,
    Nicole Henbrey

  30. Les Thompson Says:

I have this cool iPad and have to go to Starbucks, Safeway or a friends house every time I need a decent online session, or for now “borrowing” my neighbors “unsecured” wireless network, which is extremely slow. I started trying to send this at 7:15am, hope you get this on time.

  31. Andy Says:

I am sick and tired of d-link! tired tired tired! had way too many problems… just want something that works. Simple and smooth. This would be a great addition to my new condo since i will be leaving my d-link at home or in the trash…

  32. Deb Says:

Pretty soon I will research on a wireless router as I am in the market to buy one. Or maybe I’ll have a friend research for me as he loves to and me…not so much.
We have an iMac at home and will soon buy a laptop or MacBook as both my jr. high student children will need a computer in the evening for homework. (Funny how we are almost at the point where one computer isn’t enough). Plus a fun new toy would be fun especially with other electronics in the home.
Ergo we will need to be on wireless network.
    Thx guys :o )

  33. Deb Says:

This fall both of my children will be in Jr. High. I am in the market to purchase either a laptop or a MacBook (we are a Mac family) as one computer isn’t enough with all the homework that needs internet access.
Then of course we’ll need a wierless network.. and voila!! there you are.
This will save me from researching which the best gadget is for what we need.
Plus we sure would love to have such a fun toy in the house. Thx guys :o )
